In
2000, we raised over 9.5 million dollars through our Believe in the
Future campaign to extend the mission and ministry capacity of our
congregation. Nearly one third of this has gone to Mobile Meals of
Spartanburg County, founded and housed by our congregation, serving 1800
meals each day to shut-ins and elderly. We have added new educational space,
a
much-needed youth center, and an activity center.
We are poised to serve our community and the larger church in the world
for the generation to come. While the last chapter is one of the
strongest in our church's rich history, the next one promises to be
better still!
